Someone made me one of those for my birthday the other week, but I came in drunk and accidentally sat on it. Apparently it was a view of the West Stand but the whole occasion just turned into a succession of baffled questions and frantic apologies, the details got lost and we just ate the lower layer. The mix was still good without icing. Anyway, your cake looks great. Happy 50s.

That looks great, infact good enough to eat.
Unfortunately for me however, a few years back, an unsavoury image not too dissimilar to the cake was etched from the internet onto my long term memory and I can't look at this cake without seeing similarities between the two.
Fair play to the "baker" of the cake though, great effort!
