I don't often post these warnings, but this one seems legit as I heard about it from a friend who is very technical and works for the Oxford University IT department.
There is a new wave of a virus going around at the moment that appears to be an invoice or order details in a spreadsheet (or sometimes a word document). If you open the spreadsheet it is blank, but has at the same time infected your PC with malware (if you are using Windows).

Just thought I'd pass on the info, and just remind people never to open an attachment that they are not expecting even if it seems to come from someone they know.
