Brighton & Hove Albion women’s manager James Marrs is eager for his side to return to winning ways when they travel to West Ham United on Sunday, kick-off 2pm.
*
Albion head into the match following back-to-back defeats against Queens Park Rangers and Cardiff City, and Marrs underlined the competitiveness of the league.
*
He told seagulls.co.uk, “I have always said that any team can beat anyone in this league and I’ve been proven right these past couple of weeks.
*
“QPR were looking to get their first win of the season against us and they were sitting bottom of the table, so you can’t take too much notice of anyone’s league position at this stage of the season.
*
“It will be great to pick up three points. I don’t think we paticularly played badly last week, but there were a couple of moments that lost us the three points.
*
“On another day, those moments might not have happened. We’re looking to cut the errors out and hope that stands us in good stead.
*
“This week is all about the players showing their character.”
*
Albion (probable squad): Faye Baker, Vicky Ashton-Jones, Catherine Cooper, Deanna Cooper, Phoebe Leitch,* Charlotte Young, Jay Blackie, Kirsty Barton, Lucy Somes, Charley Boswell, Sophie Perry, Kate Natkiel, Amy Taylor, Charlotte Gurr, Megan Fox, Emily Baker.
