IPad problem allegedly caused by Facebook?

I administer a Facebook page for work purposes. A new user of it claims that he recently accessed it, clicked on a "like" and the following happened - "All three of my email accounts have lost all received and sent emails and attachments, all data files i.e everything. I have had to use factory reset software to get started again".

I find this most peculiar/unlikely that it was caused by Facebook - anyone have any expert views on this (I think we can assume that the "TIOATIOA" option has been exercised).

utter bollocks, and if there were a magic button on facebook that deleted mail account contents, it would be facebook's problem.

Not a chance it was Facebook. You've got yourself a classic case of PEBCAK there.
