i Love Bob

However, I'd say there are at least a dozen better Bob albums.

That's not to say Nashville Skyline is bad.

When Johnny Cash comes in on Girl From the North Country it gets me every time.

I could do without Country Pie, not to my taste :)

A dozen better? I can think of about five maybe, but not over a dozen.

I can't think of any that are better just a lot that are very different and just as good in their own way. That is one of the beauties of Dylan, the variety

He did nothing else like Nashville Skyline that I have heard

Well it's all matter of opinion my friend, but here we go:

Freewheelin
Another side of Bob Dylan
Bring it all back home
Highway 61 Revisited
Blonde on Blonde
John Wesley Harding
Blood on the Tracks
Desire
Slow Train Coming
Infidels (which could have been so much better)
Oh Mercy
Under the Red Sky
Time out of Mind
Love & Theft
Modern Times

And this is ignoring the Official Bootleg series

Have to give it a listen. Mrs. P is a big fan and we have seen him live a couple of times. An acquired taste but I don't dispute that he is worthy of the acclaim he gets.

At the end of my tether
Mrs P.A is an obsessive Dylanette too. Seen him several times . Last one wa a couple of weeks back at Cardiff. I wa disappointed that he did several Sinatra songs from his last album

I do love his work though ..Can't say which album is the best , all so different

Not for me, no. I love Dylan's first few albums, but not the later stuff. It's not that I'm a 'purist', demanding that everything should be solo acoustic, it's more that he wrote (or cribbed!) better songs back then. IMHO, of course.
