I rarely text these days, mainly use a couple of friend groups on Whatsapp. This tends to cut out all the unnecessary kissing and cloying pet names.
I refused to pay an extortionate EE bill and was cut off from incoming and outgoing calls and same for texts. It was a pain for about 48 hours until you realise one can manage perfectly well with email and Whatssap.
