Kazenga LuaLua's Albion absence is set to stretch to over nine weeks.
The explosive left-winger will not be involved at Sheffield Wednesday tomorrow night and is almost certain to miss Saturday's home game against MK Dons as well.
Boss Chris Hughton revealed: "Kazenga probably at this moment will be after the international break.
"He's a very powerful individual so we just need to make sure we are managing it the best way we can."
LuaLua has been ruled out by a groin injury sustained in training after the visit to Wolves on September 19.
He could make his comeback at Burnley on November 22.
Captain Gordon Greer, sidelined for the last three-and-a-half games by knee trouble, is also still out tomorrow night but Hughton said: "We're very hopeful of GG for Saturday."
Bruno has recovered from cramp which forced him off in the closing stages of the 1-1 draw at Reading. The Spaniard will continue to captain the team in Greer's absence as they go in search of a first ever win at Hillsborough.
Albion's travel plans for the trip to Yorkshire are up in the air due to fog.
They were meant to be flying tonight to Doncaster but may have to make the journey by coach instead.
