Were they when it was being made ready or when it was all being taken down?

We were only talking yesterday about the Phantom Rocket Launcher setting off his fireworks whenever we scored.

This is why we had to spend £ 115,000 on a new pitch after the first season.

God I miss that place. It was my first Albion home so I think it will always hold a special place in my heart.

Always remember walking in the first time with a Cardiff supporting mate. We stood on the runing track with big smile son our faces. Just as I turned to him and said 'I'm home!' he muttered 'Christ this is a dump'

I'm completely the opposite. The football was fun but there's nothing I miss about that place whatsoever.

It was an absolutely horrible place to watch football, the fact that we had so many good times there is remarkable.

I am so grateful that we had that place to go to while we waited for the Amex. I had some great times there, but also some of the most "I must be mental coming here" moments as well. The games where I would have been dryer sitting in a filled bath fully clothed, freezing cold watching some really bad football.

At least now if I have to watch really bad football again I will be dry and have a comfy seat.

The pictures of the pitch don't look too dissimilar to when it was being in played on during some games.
