Why Do Sheffield Wednesday Always Have Better Home Kits Than Us?

Every season, since god knows when, Wednesday, who essentially have the same template to work with as us, have continually and effortless spewed home kit designs to die for. By contrast, we continually and effortlessly somehow manage to produce the most appalling crap and have done for decades, barring probably one solitary season. It's a minor gripe in the grand scheme of life I grant you, but we get thrown a bone like American Express and we even manage to fudge that one up, putting a stupid block panel across the front. That we manage to sell any replica shirts at all is quite an impressive feat. In the grand scheme of blue and white striped shirts, Wednesday have always been head and shoulders above BHA, Col U, Wigan, FC Porto, Huddersfield Town, Hartlepool(s) United et al.

Our current home kit WITHOUT the stick on lol sticker would be as good as it gets in my opinion.

The Spanish know how to do blue and white stripes. Real Sociedad and Malaga kits are always far better than ours.

Totally disagree. Have a look here:

and here

It's about opinions of course, but since 1999 I think we've had better home kits every single year? The ITS, TITS, 1ST MONSTROSITY of a sponsors logo did us no favours, but the kits themselves have been great. Errea made really good, unique(ish) kits for us.

The current panel on the front of our kit isn't going anywhere. Amex won't let their logo be put on a mixed background and Nike won't manufacture a kit with a break in the stripes. So, all the time we've got strips and a Nike kit... get used to it. Even Juventus have to put up with it.

If there must be a sticky label, why oh why must it have a white background. Why not just use their own branding.
