He's a free agent so why doesn't he join a Premier League team, or else MLS?

Northern Hemisphere.
No chance. He's playing in a charity match at Old trafford next month. Every single player involved is no longer playing professional football.

Looks to me like he's retired.

Worthing
Probably the same people who said Bridge was past it when we signed him

If the reports are to be believed bit of a nutter (e.g shotgun to training etc).

However, absolutely world class in his time and if Bong is out would take him. Class is permanent (see Bridge).

The fact he's still a free agent says it all really.

To me it says he & his agent have been unable to accept a job on £10k-£20k per week as the player has worked for at least £100k per week for the last 10 years. However as time passes he needs to either retire or lower his wage demands. A big fat Premier League promotion bonus should be enough to get him to the Amex if he still has a passion for the game and can gain Championship fitness fairly quickly.
