JAMIE MURPHY has thanked Albion for fighting his corner after a recent red card.
But he admitted a four-week absence from the first team ultimately caught up with him late in the 0-0 draw with Preston.
Murphy felt he was unlucky to be sent-off at Bolton recently, resulting in a three-week ban.

He was initially bright on his comeback against North End before fading in the second half.
The Scottish winger told The Argus: “The red card was disappointing. It was obviously unintentional.
“I don’t know what to say about it because I don’t want to get myself into trouble.
“But I just want to say thanks to the club for appealing against it.
“They said they believed it was unintentional, which it obviously was, but you’ve just got to get on with it.”
