A proper game of two halves. We played some brilliant football in the first half except for one major weakness … we needed someone to put the ball in the net when we were dominating the game. We didn’t even have many shots. Second half poor. Overall disappointing. Crofts and Ince both did OK, but to lose your two central midfielders who have been such a key part of your success is always going to be tough to deal with. We need to strengthen in the goal scoring department if we’re to stand a chance of promotion.

Stockdale 7. Good game. Not a lot to deal with, but did what was required. Distribution mostly excellent and MUCH better than Tuesday.
Bruno 8. Excellent game. Kept all the good stuff going from Tuesday and dumped the crap. MOM.
Hunemeir 7. Good game.
Dunk 6. Looked a little dodgy at times, but a big improvement on Tuesday.
Bong 7. Played well. Hope injury is not too bad.
Ince 7. Good game. Passing generally spot on, but maybe lacks the creativity we need.
Crofts 6. OK. Amazed he could handle the full 90 minutes.
Rosenior 6
Murphy 7. One or two great runs and generally had a good game. We have missed him.
Hemed 5. He needs to get back to scoring goals. That’s why he’s out there.
Baldock 6. Also needs to get on the scoresheet more frequently, but a good first half, not so good second.

Subs:
Zamora 6. Unable to make an impact.
March 5. Poor.
Holla 7. Actually played very well in the few minutes he had.

Not the best today but missing key players and still drew. Let's remember it's a marathon not a sprint.

Stockdale 7. Didn't really have much to do but did it well.
Bruno. 8 Inspires confidence - great technique and creative. Goal line clearance. MoM
Uwe. 8. Beginning to work well with Dunk - defends quite high up
Dunk. 7. Much better but some dreadful long clearances
Bong. 7 Looks very nasty injury. Solid and good at transition to attack.
Rosenior. 7 Works superbly with Bruno. Intelligent but seemed to tire second half
Ince 6. Not a creative midfielder but did OK.
Crofts. 6. Good to see him back and a firm presence. Great cover for Kayal and Stephens or for a midfield three with those two.
Murphy. 6. Played in flashes - very good flashes but inconsistent today
Hemed. 5. Confidence is shot to pieces. Needs a rest
Baldock. 8. Tireless and superb movement.

Zamora 6. Didn't get much of a look in today
March. 6. Got into good positions but didn't make anything.
Holla. 6 Someone who can play a dead ball!!!!!!

That could be the point that gets us promoted, or it could be the lost two that keep us out the play offs. One of those games. We made PNE look better than they are in the second half.

Stockdale 7 - Couple of decent saves and punches but not busy.
Bruno 8 - He's on his best run of form ever for us. Controls the ball so well. MOM deserved.
Hunemeir 6 - Some good, some bad.
Dunk 6 - Wasn't convinced until the last 20 mins when looked back to his best.
Bong 7 - Ran Bruno very close for MOM. If that injury is bad this will be a massive blow.
Ince 5 - Lacked sharpness, sloppy. Poor comeback.
Crofts 5 - Off the pace in my opinion.
Rosenior 7 - we missed him when he went off.
Murphy 6 - game of two halves, fantastic in the first.
Hemed 4 - not sure what's happened to him these last few games. Looks in need of a rest.
Baldock 6 - worked really hard again, used his pace well.

Subs:
Zamora 6. Hardly saw the ball.
March 5. Did nothing when he came on.
Holla 6. Did okay.

Stockdale 7 did all that was required
Bruno 8 Good display
Huenemier 6 more assured than Tuesday
Dunk 6 An improvement on Tuesday with a couple of moments of panic.
Bong 6 Good defending poor crossing when going forward.
Rosenior 6 Reliable
Ince 5 Ok but sadly lacking in creativity and skill
Crofts 5 Behind the pace of the game.
Murphy 6 Some good runs but needs to look up and perhaps go outside the defender sometimes rather than inside.
Baldock 6 Some good runs I am sure the goals will come.
Hemed 5 Seems to have lost his confidence since the penalty miss at Wolves.
Subs.
March 6 did ok
Zamora 6 Not given much to try for.
Holla 6 put himself about and perhaps shoukd have started in place of Ince.

That's how I saw it. Pretty good 1st 25 mins with 2-3 chances. Poor 2nd half with naff all chances. Our midfield were poor today which meant hardly any momentum going forward. One point is better than none.

Stockdale 7 Solid, distribution better than Tuesday
Bruno 8 Excellent again: good defending and always a threat going forward
Huenemeier 7.5 Held the defence together really well, won a lot of headers and put himself in the firing line
Dunk 5 Better than Tuesday but only just - distribution shocking
Bong 7 A constant threat down the left, will be much missed when he's out
Rosenior 6 Nothing flashy, nice and steady but never a real threat
Crofts 5 Looked well off the pace
Ince 4 Off the pace, no creativity, looked lost
Murphy 5 Flattered to deceive. one decent shot but no threat
Baldock 7 Worked hard and some nice touches
Hemed 4 A game best forgotten, nothing seemed to come off for him

Subs
Zamora 5 Not one of his better efforts but was given little chance to shine
March 4 Did nothing but fall over or lose the ball
Holla 6 Provided a bit of solidity when he came on - should have started ahead of Ince

I thought Baldock was poor again today. lots of running - usually away from the goal and working hard but absolutely no end product in the way of a shot on target or setting up a chance. I don't think he gives us any more than CMS but he's in a winning team so looks ok.

Good set of marks and comments, so I'll take the lazy option. Agree with all of these. We really missed BK and DS.

I sort of agree. The thing is, up against a resilient back five it is hard to forge a clear scoring opportunity. He gets into good positions, his movement and first touch are good, but yes, he should score goals as well. To be honest, I would rather have seen him up front with Bobby from the off, Hemed is a bit in the wilderness right now.

I couldn't agree more with you, so many saying he works hard, can't see this myself. He appears to me to be going through the motions, is not strong, not accurate and not a taker of chances. The problem is that the there is no competition in the squad challenging him so his selection is by default. Had Barnes and CMS had his conversion rate that would have been roundly lambasted by most, yet they scored more and were still wholly criticised. For me his contribution alround is not good enough.
Whilst on the subject, I'm seeing Hemed looking as though he is drowning at this level of football, he appears slow, flat footed, unable to hold or win the ball. His goals have dried up as he no longer the new kid on the block in this league, reminds me of Ulloa at Leicester.
WE have major shortcomings up front and Hughton, i'm sure, is acutely aware of this.
