He's on about players being brought in to the club under a DoF and not being the managers choice which certainly happened under Oscar and Hyypia. Main example being Hyypia wanted Maenpaa to be his number 1 last summer but the club went ahead with Burke's second choice of David Stockdale.

Did he say money balling? If so what is it?

Moneyballing is, oversimplistically speaking, using stats to scout players that are perhaps not attention grabbing. It worked really well in baseball, and some teams have been trying to apply it in football. We were, apparently, one of them, with Burke and his spreadsheet. Brentford's desire to implement it saw the owner fall out with Warburton and he left and is now wildly successful with Rangers, while Brentford are struggling like we did last season until we got rid of Burke.

So agree with him, why have a manager if you don't trust them to manage.

Wondering if I can think of a good example...

...er, maybe the increasingly God-like CH?

Totally agree with the boss.

CH proves the point. Our boss now.

So you think that if the analysts who work for certain company of TB's spot a set of stats that look interesting they won't tell the boss?
