2009-10 Newcastle 24 Champions
2008-09 Wolves 25 Champions
2007-08 Watford 26 6th
2006-07 Cardiff 26 13th (WTF?)
2005-06 Sheffield Utd 30 Runners up

So 3 teams leading after 11 games in the 11 years of the modern Championship manage to phuque it up... Will we be the fourth?

Interesting that it is 8 years since a team in our position at this point in the season has failed to get promotion. I really had, up until now, been taking it one game at a time. No sorry, I am not biting, I am still going to take one game at a time. Prod me again March/April next year.

I like this fact.
The team top of the league on 1 November has always been promoted.

Looking at fixtures. That will be us or Reading.

I cant even remember Sheff Utd in the premiership. Am I loosing it or did it never happen?

Maybe the Albion just got lucky, but they seem to be benefiting from having an intelligent, level-headed, down-to-earth proper footballing man at the helm finally. Or maybe just getting rid of the Burke playing fantasy football with a real database and no real football knowledge was the key.
