Brilliant album by an amzing band who were a big part of my youth and a wonderful experience live.

Anyone going to give this a listen on radio 6? I am going to have to wait for catch up i think.

Anyone been to see them since they reformed I have been told they have been great. They are heading my way and I am hoping they announce a tour.

Saw them a few months ago and planning to see them tomorrow too.

Andy Bell is convinced he is Liam Gallagher, great live!

It's part of my youth revival fortnight, having seen (or will see)

Starsailor
Low
The Members
The Buzzcocks
Ride
Sisters of Mercy
Theatre of Hate
and Gary Numan

in the space of a couple of weeks.

I'm sure it was a lot cheaper when I was an undergraduate though, I recall seeing The Cure, U2, Adam and the Ants, and The Fall for 50p each at Manchester Poly Union. Today it's averaging about £23.

Some great bands there enjoy :)

Just bought tickets for The Charlatans next year so I am pretty happy. If Ride make it out here i will be joyous.

25 years!!! Really??
Dear god I'm old.

Great band, went to see them lots of times, back in the day.
Drive Blind was always the highlight of their live set, IMHO.

Love The Charlatans, they played a gig recently in Manchester and the guest guitarist who came on for the encore was..................................Gary Neville (who I regret to say was pretty good).

I heard about that although tried to block it out. I saw them a couple of years ago in Melbourne and they were good. Love seeing UK bands here with the ex pat crowds, the atmosphere is brilliant.

I passed over Ride when they were doing there thing and must admit to finding Andy Bell annoying. But, they were playing a festival over the summer and decided to have watch them whilst having a beer. I ended up staying for the full set. I'm not a convert but can certainly see the appeal. Enjoy.
