Didn't see that coming, he seemed happy at being Wee Gordons No2 for the national side - he was saying last week how much he was enjoying the role in the run-up to the qualifiers. A very decent bloke, wish him well.

hardly surprising after Jocks failed to qualify for Euros.......Greer as his captain ?

hardly surprising after Jocks failed to qualify for Euros.......

There's a double-header coming up against England in the World Cup qualifiers though. Shirley that's more appealing then another Tuesday night in Kilmarnock.

When you look at surely one of the better mangers to come out of Scotland and has worked well on low budgets,therefore is he a manager that gets results on personnel touch as opposed to budget ?
