Auxerre youngster

Just spotted a bit of rumour fluff from the Daily Mail...apologies if this has already been discussed and discarded.

Everton are showing an interest in Auxerre's promising midfielder Brahim Konate.
The 19-year-old has started the Ligue Two side's last three games and proved the catalyst for an upturn in form with Auxerre winning each game.
Lyon have taken a keen interest in the French box to box midfielder, who only turned professional last summer, while Championship title chasers Brighton have also watched Konate in recent weeks.

He sounds like a promising young baller, possible stand in for when Kayal is suspended or if he's injured. No way he'd choose us over Everton though to sit on the bench. Hmnn
