Delighted if someone has given them up. There are lines you don't cross and killing a policeman is definitely one of them.
I will very happily drop a few bob into the police memorial fund although I might give the one set up by someone who "used to" work with his partner a swerve.

I've just listened to the 5pm news on Radio 4; not a bulletin, but a 5 minute reading. No mention of the arrest!
It's an odd vehicle to target - highly distinctive even without the commercial livery.

I think killing anyone is probably a line not to cross tbh!

Of course.
It just feels that killing a policeman is an attack on more than the person.
Any society needs rules and people who we all agree can enforce them. Without that we're left with anarchy

]In the world of organized crime, if your action ends in imprisonment for one of them, or even if it just interrupts their operations, you are liable to be murdered...unless you're a police officer or a DPP prosecutor. Sadly, this unwritten law has gone in some broken societies in Latin America, particularly Mexico and Guatemala.

Too soft in this country.
Had he been caught before the murder he would have had his wrists slapped and sent abroad on holiday to 'find' himself.

Do you post threads when the police get arrested and charged with murder for all those black men who have died in custody ...

... Oh
:lolol: you utter, utter bellend, apart from the fact this is massively disrespectful on a thread about a young man losing his life, what on earth has colour got to do with deaths in police custody ??

Right.....so your just making random statements because you think being anti- Police is terribly impressive, grow up.

Many thanks for your adult contribution. As your mature approach is incapable of finding out important information for yourself, Iet's allow a child to do it for you. And while we're at it, perhaps you could reciprocate by informing us of the number of police deaths that have occurred in a similar period.

Perhaps alfredmizen might want to refer to the last of these, but I suspect that it'd be ignored. I'm not going to respond to any further points on this thread, because:
-- I've made my point
-- there is a policy on NSC that prevents a 'ding-dong' between two posters (or groups of posters), and I don't want to trouble the mods on this
-- I'm not expecting too much in the way of intelligent responses, although might revisit this if someone can take the trouble to do so
