Northstandchat's own greyhound racing syndicate bought its seventh dog in August, the same week as the tragedy at Shoreham Airshow.

Unsurprisingly the NSC Poll to name this new dog voted overwhelmingly for ALBION TOGETHER and he makes his debut under his new name on Wednesday afternoon at 2.27pm.

Although the REMF are presenting their cheque to Worthing United on Sunday, the syndicate had already agreed to donate any winnings earned by Albion Together in his first month to the excellent charity. The donation will be a minimum of £100 even if he doesn't record a win in October (sound familiar?)

See the racecard here: http://www.brightonandhovegreyhoundstadium.co.uk/result/advancerace/2015/10/07race1.pdf
Note Albion Blue also runs Tuesday in race 9

Northstandchat Greyhound racing syndicate was formed on this forum in 2011 and have had amazing luck with a succession of winners from Grade 3 down.
Albion Flyer started us off, followed by Albion Star, Albion Legend, and Albion Bloom, now all retired.
We currently have three dogs in training, Albion Calde, Albion Blue and Albion Together.
If you would like to join the syndicate, we have a couple of vacancies. It costs £100 to join and £25 per month. You must be over 18 years of age and looking to join a syndicate for fun rather than seeking to make your fortune.

For more details, PM me, ask questions on the separate Greyhound forum or email us at nscgreyhoundsyndicate@gmail.com

Is this at Corals in Hove?

Yes it is. It should be noted that Albion Together has already had several races at Hove under the name Riverside Shadow and has won at A8. He's generally a quick starter (complete opposite of Albion Blue) and is getting better at staying the distance. His last race was his quickest to date (30.63).

I'll be at the top of the terracing in line with the finish line

Funnily enough, over the summer I was talking to a dad at our son's cricket club and he knew all about this syndicate as he's massively into his greyhounds. Good bloke, and you probably all know him. Palace fan though, but you can't have it all.

Started well enough, but put his feet up at the fourth bend.

Think of a footballer who didn't fancy 90 minutes. But with a bit of experience certainly speed there.
