Brighton & Hove Albion welcome Cardiff City to the American Express Community Stadium this Saturday on the day Albion in the Community celebrate 25 years since their inception.

Albion come into the match as the only unbeaten side in the country following a record-breaking start to the season while Cardiff have also begun brightly, currently sitting in the play-off zone. *

The match also marks the 25th anniversary of AITC and there are a host of activities planned to celebrate the great work the charity does across Sussex and further afield.

AITC Activity and Fanzone
*
Albion in the Community are asking all fans to bring £1 to the match to help them continue to there outstanding work within the county.*
*
Their team will be hosting a wheelchair football session in the Fanzone from 2pm and community coaches will be handing out information on the community programmes that are on offer.
*
In addition, the two Albion buses will be in attendance with health advice and information readily available, while AITC’s chief operating officer Gary Townsend will be taking on charity champion Steve Darby in a cycle off from 1.30pm in the Fanzone.
*
The bandstand will host former Amex favourites BeatNicz from 1.30pm until 2.15pm but fans are reminded that the Hop Bar next to the bandstand will be closed for this fixture.
*
AITC’s Dave Freebourn will also be gracing the stage in the Family Stand with a host of fun games and activities kicking off at 2pm.

As with previous fixtures this season, the club’s park & ride facility P&R 2 (formerly University of Brighton P&R), has ongoing building work at the Cockcroft site, therefore we advise fans to arrive earlier than usual.

All other P&R car parks are operating a normal service.

Southern Rail will be running a usual matchday service for the match.

This week’s early arrival drink offer is two bottles of Heineken for just £5, available between 1.30pm and 2.00pm in the concourses.
The game’s guest ale is Brains and the guest pie is Chilli but the 'street' food kiosks will not be in operation for this fixture.

The concourse opens at 1.30pm, with live coverage on the screens at the Amex of the lunchtime Wolves v Huddersfield fixture, the teatime Premier League match between Chelsea and Southampton, and the 5pm Rugby World Cup game between Scotland and South Africa.

Albion fans can enjoy a pint of our special guest ale from Welsh brewers Brains – which will be served in the North Stand – alongside Albion’s award-winning best-in-the-Football-League Piglet’s Pantry pies - with a special chilli-con-carne pie on offer!
