Need some advise please as train to Brighton then bus required to travel to Saltdean this Saturday and not paid a bus fare in years.

What type of ticket do I need for a return on the bus, how much and can I just pay cash to the driver ?

Saltdean your best bet is a city saver. 4.70 and you can pay in cash on the bus. Think the number you need is a 27 from Brighton station

If you have a smart phone, you can download the Brighton buses app for free and buy a saver on there for £4.20.

That's the best way to do it. You just show the driver your phone which will show the code word of the day. Don't activate it until you need it.

Be sure to ask the bus driver where the FIRST CLASS compartment is.

Don't be a CAUC, surely all buses have first class these days ?

There's a few savers there. Especially if it's not only you who is travelling.
