I'm just stumped that it's apparently not drivers' faults they are frustrated.
People should just chill their beans. They're not deliberate, they're not out to get drivers, and without them people wouldn't be driving!
Maybe there should be a drive to get people to plan ahead and stop being so stupid.

the frustration is when you have a long stretch of road out with no one working, because at the end of the day they can only work on a short stretch at a time. so no H&S problem, you just have a rolling works that moves. some jobs it wouldnt work, but the default should be to minimise impact to traffic.
