Christmas party entertainment - any ideas?

I'm organising our sit down meal and stuff at the Christmas party in a bar and have been
asked to provide entertainment of some sort during and after the meal. The bash is only
officially for three hours.

Any ideas from the great and good of NSC about what I could lay on?

About 30 people. Loud music is probably not a good idea - and no youngsters.

I know this guy who is also a table magician. Dead good but not from Brighton. He's from Herne Bay but he's always happy to travel to perform. I think he did a show in Rugby only last weekend.
