You're Cameron's PR team for piggate what do you do?

Make a donation to a pig farm? ( could be viewed as solicitation)

Keep away from all of Aston Hams matches?

No more bacon butties in public?

Deny everything till the photo is shown?

Tricky situation easy to make a pigs ear of the whole thing!

Start a separate thread on NSC when there's already one for this subject?

Guaranteed: within the next couple of days he'll crack a lame, posh boy gag or two - watered down versions of the kind of stuff that was on Twitter last night - to try and show that he has a sense of humour, can laugh at himself etc. Then "seriously, this is all utter nonsense of course but you have expect a bit of this sort of thing if you're in the public eye" etc etc.

Unless of course the fabled PHOTO of the event surfaces. In which case crack open the Frazzles.

Keep out of the public eye for a few days, invent an illness to be suffering from., sympathy vote and all that.

Swine fever should do it, with a side order of styes in his eyes

You know this photo was in the news 18 months ago right?

Edit: apologies, I've read the story now. Ignore me.

Tell Dave that when he sees a reporter doing a piece to camera on the subject, he should approach from behind in as creepy a manor as possible, stare at the camera menacingly over the reporters shoulder, and mimic the reporters body language.

Daily Mail is already doing a story down those lines (from bits from the same book, though).

I'd imagine the mail are having a bit of a crisis - trying to sell the serialisation of the book, whilst scrambling desperately to put a positive spin on it - somehow!

Cameron's PR team, even as we speak, will be drafting an outright denial. They will claim he did not realise the pig was dead.

No no, it would be better to state the pig was dead but DC had nothing to do with its demise. The damage limitation spiel could then include the standard "no animals were harmed" disclaimer; surely that would strike a note with animal lovers everywhere...... ?
