Superb tonight. That dipping volley was the highlight but loads of other lovely touches.
He was indeed absolute quality. Again.
But "the stand out player of the season so far"
A phrase used to describe about six of our players this season*. Which is nice.
*You've certainly forgotten August best player in the league, Lua Lua, never mind Bong, Huenemaer, Greer or King Kayal.

Thought Bruno was made a lot less use of tonight than on Saturday. Oh, and the dipping volley WAS sublime.

Wasn't a fan of Bruno last season but has been immense so far and should of been man of the match tonight.
Very much the point I'm making on the DS thread.
Just remember how we were all feeling 4 MONTHS AGO - including a 2 month break from football.

Bong ok, Honey Monster good, Greer, Kayal, and Lua Lua excellent. But Stephens and Bruno sublime, just my opinion though

Always liked Bruno but didn't think he would have the legs. He looks like he could still be at the top of his game for the next 2 or 3 years, so hopefully he will get his chance in the Prem.

I always thought it disappointing that after such early promise when he joined he only ever showed faint flashes of his skill thereafter, among a lot of distinctly average performances.
This season however he seems a man possessed and has looked every bit the flair Champions League star we had hoped for.
Not sure what they're putting in his sangria, but long may it continue

The whole team has - swagger is exactly the right term for it. And a joy to watch it certainly is. Superb times these, they really are. They don't happen often...
Bruno was magnificent last night.
I fully expect him to be offered another deal in the near future.Can not believe that there were people on here moaning about him getting another years contract last season. Along with Stephens the stand out player of the season so far.
