Music syncing problem

I've been given an iPod nano, that has a load of music on it, and a CD. The person wants me to add the music from the CD to the iPod for them.

Is there any way I can do this for them, given that the nano is not synced to my iTunes/computer, and I suspect if I try I would wipe out all the music already on it.
