Wow. Yesterday was magnificent!
Very emotional ( daddy why are you crying) and extremely proud of our club.
We got to our seats and he had a goodie bag on his seat : A plush gully, foam hand, flag and a card from the club. Classy touch. The game was so so, but we won and it was a privilege to be there.

The only downside was it was too noisy for him! 😊 He shouted at me when we scored because I screamed, he kept asking when it was half time, his jeans were hot and he cried for most of the second half 😂
Nothing ear defenders wont fix.

Thank you all for your messages and thanks to Edna, Tom Gorringe and Sam Frost. All in all an unforgettable day.
Plus we're only 5 places behind Chelsea!

Cheers all
Jim

Wonderful stuff. The club is amazing with the youngsters and knows how important it is to give them a really great experience. The little one will get used to the noise !!!

I agree about the noise part, for most of the game it's just the north stand that's singing, so it's quite intimidating when the whole stadium (except for the away end of course) starts simultaneously chanting "ALLLLLBIIIIEEERRRRNNNN!!!!! ALLLLLLLLLLLBIIIEEEEERRRRNNNNNNNN!!!!!" or celebrates a goal.

I don't get to go to many games but when I do I cry as well.

:moo:. :jester:.
