Why do Reading's evening games always kick off at 8 rather than 7.45?

I am pretty damn sure that evening kickoffs were 7.45pm at Elm Park, the only time that changed was for TV games, which rarely happened. The 8pm kickoff, as far as I am aware, is because Reading Buses cannot complete their scheduled services and provide football buses for a 7.45pm kickoff.

Seems a bit unfair really. I'd have thought they'd give them something they understood to compensate.

I really hope Reading don't get promoted or finish top 6 after paying that amount for a loan but Vydra surely has to be the best attacking player in this division.

It's a gamble. If he gets them promoted it's superb business, if not they are back to square one having wasted £2.5 million.
