The result leaves the Seagulls top of the Premier League Southern Division with ten points from four games, with Albion's defence yet to be breached this season.
James Marrs's side made the perfect start to the game, taking the lead after just three minutes thanks to Charlotte Gurr. The forward fired the ball home at the far post from Lucy Somes’s ball across the box.
Somes proved to be a constant threat for Albion down the left-hand side and after going on a mazy run, she shot wide of the far post.
The forward then sent in a dangerous ball towards Deanna Cooper, but the defender's sliding effort went over the bar.
Gurr had a golden opportunity to double Albion's lead when Kim Stenning took advantage of some poor defending and found her inside the box, but she diverted her rising shot over the target
But a second goal came in the 39th minute, when Somes caused chaos in the Lewes defence and Amy Taylor clinically despatched the loose ball past keeper Lauren Dolbear.
Somes still created one last moment of panic in the Rookettes defence before the interval, as her looping cross was tipped onto the crossbar in almost the last action of the first half.

The visitors were awarded a free-kick in a promising position after the restart, but Katie McIntyre's low drilled effort was easily dealt with by the Albion defence.Taylor had Albion's first chance of the second period, but headed Sophie Perry's cross wide of the right-hand post.
Somes made another trademark run in from the left flank and saw her strike clip the top of the crossbar.
The Rookettes had their best chance of the game when Kirstie Spice headed Sian Cheedy's in-swinging cross over the target.
The Seagulls played out the closing stages with relative ease to continue their impressive start to the campaign.
