Albion*manager Chris Hughton has backed his players to cope with the pressure of being there to be shot at in the Championship.
The Seagulls are three points clear at the top and one of only four teams still unbeaten after deposing Ipswich Town at Portman Road in their last game before the international break.
Hull, who are second, will be next to try to claim their scalp at the Amex on Saturday.
Hughton told The Argus: “That’s normal. They are the pressures that come with the game.
“There was no bigger pressure than going to Ipswich trying to get a result.

“For any team to do well they have to live with those kind of pressures and expectations. At the moment we are doing okay and we want to continue to do okay.”
Hughton believes the early burst of activity by the Seagulls in the transfer window helped lay the foundations for their encouraging start.
The captures of Gaetan Bong, Liam Rosenior, Niki Maenpaa and Tomer Hemed were followed by a lull before another flurry of signings sparked by the return to the club of Bobby Zamora.
Hughton said: “We brought the initial ones in, Gaetan, Liam, Niki and Tomer, and they all settled in very well.
“Anyone that has come in afterwards it has been quite a settled squad and quite a good squad, so I think that’s helped very much.
“At the moment there’s a very good team spirit and we need to make sure that continues.”
