I don't think no.13 is too keen on Nige. I don't know why he bothers going to Brussels, but I guess its on expenses, sorry allowances..

He freely admits he rinses £200k out of the taxpayer. Before he got a platform briefly, he was quite vocal about this. He shut his face when he thought a few nazis were going to vote for him though.

I quite like the fact he was the only one in the room who even attempted to speak back.

we might hopefully be out in a few years then anything Europe (Germany and France) have say (order us to do) will be irrellevant

unfortunately the referendum debate is being rigged, as it stands far too many people will just stay with it once they've had a list of adjustments dangled in front of them, most of which we'll never see implemented. UKIP has lurched off to the right and made the EU issue all about immigrants, losing the more solid ground around democracy and unaccountable bureaucracy.

I haven't given up hope of the Euro Sceptics forcing the Government to play fair. Hopefully, limitations as to what can be said by the government during the campaign will be sufficiently strong.

I don't agree with Farage but to describe the opinions of an elected representative of the people made whilst in the Chamber as "worthless" is arrogant and undemocratic.

Worthless is letting him off lightly. The man is a ****. Firstly they're coming for our jobs, then they're coming for our benefits, then they're coming under cover as ISIS fighters. You'd think he didnt want any refugees seeking sanctuary the way he carries on. How are our negotiations going at the European fisheries comission btw Nigel.

Don't you subscribe to the idea of democracy? He's there because sufficient people cast their votes in favour of UKIP and expect him to represent their views, which is what he's doing. Just because he's in the minority it doesn't make his views worthless.

It's amazing yes, and gives a clear indicator how the EU works. Obey without question, the edicts of Merkel and Juncker or else. Hardly democratic, poor old Nigel does love the sound of his own voice, but his views and party are supported formally by more than 4 million EU citizens.

Second time this week that ive seen the UKIP vote posted as 'more than 4 million' on NSC. Must have been late postal votes that made up the other couple of hundred thousand votes.

You can be worried all you like about a perceived loss of sovereignty to the EU but compared to how much of our democracy we are about to sign away with TTIP it's absolute chickenfeed.
