Albion women manager, James Marrs, is welcoming a return to the Sussex County FA Headquarters on the new artificial pitch and is eager to continue his side’s unbeaten start to the season.
*
He told seagulls.co.uk, “We’re back at Culver Road and we’re looking forward to getting back out onto that pitch.
*
“We’ve had a really good time at the training ground and I think we’ve only lost once in all the home games we’ve played there. Culver Road is a second home for us and it’s nice that we’re able to play at different grounds.
*
“I’m really looking forward to the weekend and we want to continue our business after a good start.
*
“QPR are a lot stronger this year and even though they’ve been beaten a couple of times, they’ve been tight affairs.
*
“They’ve got a couple of new forwards in Jo Wilson and Cherrelle Albert, so I know about them and they’re players who will score goals. They will be a bit of a different proposition this year and will be looking to take points off the bigger teams in the league.”
*
Probable Squad: Faye Baker (GK), Molly Towers (GK), Deanna Cooper, Vicky Ashton-Jones, Catherine Cooper, Danielle Rowe, Sophie Perry, Phoebe Leitch, Charlotte Markham, Annie Rolf, Charlotte Young, Kirsty Barton, Jay Blackie (captain), Charlotte Gurr, Lucy Somes, Amy Taylor, Paige Baker-Carroll, Megan Fox.
*
Entry on the gate for Sunday’s game is priced at £3 for adults and £1 for under-16s and OAPs.

*
It is the first competitive game in charge of the side for Amy Merricks, who took over from Ed Stimpson as development squad coach in the summer.
*
Albion’s reserve side will take on their local rivals Chichester and Lewes, as well as the likes Crystal Palace, Portsmouth, West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur over the course of the season.
