Tomer Hemed was on target for Israel in their 4-0 victory over Andorra on Thursday night, as Eli Guttman’s side kept their Euro 2016 qualifying hopes alive.The 28-year-old scored Israel’s third goal from the penalty spot after 26 minutes and additional strikes from Nir Bitton, Munas Dabbur and Eran Zahavi means that the team currently sits third in Group B with 12 points from seven games.
Albion midfielder Beram Kayal replaced club and international teammate Hemed in the second half and featured for the final 15 minutes in Haifa.
Israel will face a much tougher test on Sunday afternoon when they travel to Cardiff to face group leaders Wales, kick-off 5pm.
Jake Forster-Caskey and Solly March were both second-half substitutes as England under-21s beat their USA under-23 counterparts 1-0 at Deepdale.

Maenpaa is in contention to start against Greece in their European Championship qualifier, in a match between the bottom two sides in Group F.
Markku Kanerva’s side have struggled so far with just four points and one win from six qualifiers, while Greece have failed to pick a win to date and have only two points to their name.

He will then re-join the national team ahead of a European qualifier in Andorra next Tuesday.
