Tomer Hemed was on target for Israel in their 4-0 victory over Andorra on Thursday night, as Eli Guttman’s side kept their Euro 2016 qualifying hopes alive.
The 28-year-old scored Israel’s third goal from the penalty spot after 26 minutes and additional strikes from Nir Bitton, Munas Dabbur and Eran Zahavi means that the team currently sits third in Group B with 12 points from seven games.
Albion midfielder Beram Kayal replaced club and international teammate Hemed in the second half and featured for the final 15 minutes in Haifa.
Israel will face a much tougher test on Sunday afternoon when they travel to Cardiff to face group leaders Wales, kick-off 5pm.

Jake Forster-Caskey and Solly March were both second-half substitutes as England under-21s beat their USA under-23 counterparts 1-0 at Deepdale.
March almost capped off a memorable return to the international scene when he attempted a measured chip with USA keeper Zack Steffen off his line, but his effort cannoned off the post to safety.
Manchester United striker James Wilson netted the only goal of the game after 72 minutes, ahead of England’s European under-21 championship qualifier in Norway on Monday, kick-off 5.45pm.

Gordon Strachan’s men are also in action on Monday night when they host Germany at Hampden Park, kick-off 7.45pm.
