Has anyone got Matt Richards own goal from 2008 (I think). That must have been hitting the 30 yard mark?

Hinsh was a good 30 yards out for this beauty at 0.33 sec, with bonus Colin Hawkins before it.

Decent effort that.

My two favorites were an Albion one against Leeds way back in the 80s at the Goldstone and an absolute pearler from a Plymouth defender when we were at theirs ten or so years ago.

Ian Chapmans own goal v Leeds at the Goldstone early 90's was horrific. Wee Gordon Strachan rounds the keeper and, to our INITIAL relief, with no other Leeds player in sight, squared it across the six yard box instead of slotting it into the empty goal. Then Chappers ran in and tapped it home.

I still maintain the whole of the ball didn't cross the whole of the line. Then again it was so spectacularly ridiculous it deserves to go down as a goal so it doesn't get forgotten.
