This is the page to visit for all the latest transfer news concerning Brighton & Hove Albion during the transfer window.

The summer transfer window opened on Wednesday 1st July at Brighton & Hove Albion, and closes at 6pm on Tuesday 1st September - a day later than usual, as the Monday is a Bank Holiday and the window has to close on a working day.

As the curtain came down on the 2014/15 season, five loan players returned to their parent clubs: Joe Bennett, Leon Best, Greg Halford, Joao Teixeira and Mustapha Carayol.

The club released six players whose contracts had ended: Craig Mackail-Smith, Aaron Hughes, Paddy McCourt, Vitalijs Maksimenko, Kemy Agustien and Shamir Fenelon.

Casper Ankergren and Inigo Calderon were given new deals, but 11 players departed.

24th August:Lewis Dunk puts pen to paper on a new five-year deal.

19th August: Shrewsbury defender Connor Goldson signs a four-year deal with Albion.




19th August: Under-21 defender Tom Dallison joins Braintree on loan.

14th August: Scottish winger Jamie Murphy signs from Sheffield United.


12th August: Albion complete the signing of German central defender Uwe Huenemeier from Bundesliga 2 side SC Paderborn.

4th August:Bristol Rovers take Jeffrey Monakana on loan.

3rd August:Bobby Zamora makes a spectacular return to Albion, 12 years after leaving.


1st August: Former striker Craig Mackail-Smith joins Luton Town.

23rd July: Albion capture the signing of Jack Harper from Real Madrid - subject to international clearance.

22nd July: Finnish under-21 striker Vahid Hambo signs from Finnish first division side FC Inter Turku on a two-year contract - subject to international clearance.

21st July: Albion keeper Christian Walton joins League One Bury on a season-long loan deal.

13th July: Former Albion defender Aaron Hughes joins Australian side FC Melbourne on a one-year deal.

7th July: Craig Mackail-Smith plays in a friendly for Luton Town against Farense in Portugal.

6th July: Finnish goalkeeper Niki Maenpaa signs for Albion, after leaving Dutch side VVV-Venlo.

2nd July: Cameroon international left-back Gaetan Bong signs on a two-year contract, after leaving Wigan at the end of the season.


2nd July: Former Spurs academy striker Daniel Akindayini signs for Albion, and will initially link up with the under-21 squad.

1st July: Former Albion winger Paddy McCourt joins League Two side, Luton Town. The Northern Ireland international signs a two-year deal at Kenilworth Road.

24th June: Israeli international Tomer Hemed joins on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee from Spanish side Almeria.

23rd June: Former Fulham and Hull City defender Liam Rosenior signs a three-year contract, after leaving Hull City.



23rd June: Striker Shamir Fenelon, released at the end of last season, signs for Crawley Town on a one-year deal. The 20-year-old made a handful of substitute appearances for Albion's first-team.

3rd June: The first new man to arrive was winger Joe Ward, who signed a development contract after leaving Chelmsford.
