Died after battling Brain Cancer.

There have only been three films that have truly scared me. One of them was the original Nightmare on Elm Street.

I am now a quarter of the way through a scream marathon as my only little tribute to a movie legend.

A terrible shame, by all accounts a lovely guy and a great director to boot.

I genuinely had no idea he was that old until this morning, always assumed he was much younger. It's not many people that can say they're responsible for an iconic character, he'll forever be associated with two (Freddy and Ghostface). Well played that man.

Haven't seen the film but I love that line shown on the news.
Guy on the phone: "What's your name?"
Girl: "Why do you ask?"
Guy on phone: "So I know who I'm looking at."
