This is a very important occasion.

On Sunday 6th September, Worthing United will play their first game since the tragic loss of Albion member of staff Matt Grimstone and Albion fan, REMF fundraiser and NSCer Jacob Schilt.

East Preston visit Lyons Way for the FA Vase fixture which is all-ticket.

Get along if you possibly can to help remember two young men who were very much part of the extended family that we all belong to.

Tickets are £6 for adults and £3 for concessions and can be purchased from the Albion's ticketing site: https://www.seagullstickets.com/en-...=13837433-21ea-444c-bfc2-d093f21cb5fd&type=ga

WORTHING UNITED v EAST PRESTON - IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Worthing United are set for a record crowd and first-ever sell-out at Lyons Way this weekend as they return to action, following the tragic deaths of Matt Grimstone and Jacob Schilt in the Shoreham air crash.

Tomorrow's FA Vase match against East Preston (kick-off 5pm) is very close to selling out, with a small number of tickets available to in-person callers at Lyons Way until 5pm today - please note there will be no admission on the day.

Those with tickets and travelling to the match by car are advised to park in the Sainsbury's car park. The store closes at 4pm and the supermarket has kindly granted permission for supporters to park cars there. Additionally B&Q are providing overflow parking.

Ahead of kick-off there will be a minute's applause in celebration of Matt and Jacob's lives, and to honour all those victims of the crash.

Members of the club's junior teams will be selling a special 32-page tribute programme to the players, and special Matt & Jacob scarves, with all proceeds going to the Worthing United fund for the families, along with all proceeds from the gate receipts.

Worthing United would like to thank Brighton & Hove Albion, Adie Morris, Adie Limmer, Jenny Gower and their many stewards who are volunteering to help us stage the match; Darren Balkham and Sussex Police; Ken Benham and the Sussex FA; East Preston for waiving their share of the gate; Peter Saywell; Nike for the donation of special tribute kits; L&S Printing for donating the programme; Alchemy Creations, Pinnacle and Luke Nicoli for producing the programme; Ad Astra for the marque; Tyrrells Crisps for the donation of snacks to sell at the match; Sainsbury's and B&Q for the use of the car parks; and the many, many others who've helped us over the past fortnight.
