Brighton have signed Feyenoord forward Elvis Manu
Brighton have completed the signing of Netherlands U21 forward Elvis Manu from Feyenoord for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old has signed a three-year deal, subject to international clearance, and will be available for selection when the players return after the international break.
"We are really pleased to have brought in another offensive option, and what Elvis will bring us is a different type of striker, and also a player who has played in the wide areas," manager Chris Hughton told the club's official website.
"At 22 years of age, he is of a great age for further development, and he comes to us with a very good pedigree, having come through the Feyenoord system - and he has represented Holland from U16 to U21 level."
Manu progressed through the ranks at Feyenoord's academy before enjoying successful loan spells with Excelsior and SC Cambuur.
Manu established himself at Feyenoord last season and also impressed in European competition, scoring 14 goals in 37 matches in the Dutch Eredivisie, Champions League and Europa League.
