Brighton & Hove Albion are advising supporters wishing to make donations following the tragic Shoreham air show crash to use the Shoreham Air Show Fund.The Fund has been set up by Adur District Council, Brighton & Hove Council, West Sussex County Council and Worthing Borough Council in conjunction with Sussex Community Foundation.
The Sussex Community Foundation is a charity which raises funds for and makes grants to local charities and community groups across Sussex.
Donations can be made online at [url]www.justgiving.com/sussexgiving[/URL] or via text or by telephone.
Leader of West Sussex County Council Louise Goldsmith said, "This tragedy has affected so many people and one of the ways in which people have been showing they care is by making donations.
"In response to the many requests this fund has been set up so there is a central place for those donations. If anyone wishes to make a donation, then please do so. The money will go to the people and communities affected by the Shoreham air show incident."
Kevin Richmond, an Albion season-ticket holder, and chief executive of the Sussex Community Foundation added, "We're honoured to be able to help in this way and will be consulting with local people to ensure that the money so generously given is used in the best possible way to help those who have been most touched by this tragedy."
