Blackburn match:
1) I had the best ever Chicken, Gammon and Leek Piglets Pie at the concession stand in WSL. Now I really understand the fuss about Piglets Pies compared to the Sodexo hard crust overcooked version.
2) I dutifully read my Pre Match Brief as delivered by club email. Tempted by the offer of a £3-50 pint of Fosters between 1.30 and 2.00 I approached the Fosters stand. Oddly no discounted option, but they directed me to the usual kiosk. The first server had no idea what I was referring to, but the second cheery server knew all about it and obliged with a smile.
3) In defence of Sodexo, decided to buy a last minute bottle of water due to the start time delay. Run out in WSL but told they would have more in 5 minutes and offered tap water while we waited or as an alternative. Declined the tap water and the bottle duly arrived in good time. (Sorry I lied about the 'not water related' bit!).
