Brighton & Hove Albion’s second home fixture of the season sees the Seagulls welcome Blackburn Rovers to the Amex Stadium.
*
Blackburn Rovers have taken two points from their opening three games after several changes in personnel over the summer, including the departure of last season’s top goalscorer Rudy Gestede.
Ticket Office
The club's supporter services team are urging all supporters to arrive early at the stadium, with a high number of collections for matchday tickets.
*
Please bring your new season ticket card if you have received one. If you have not received a new card your old one will be active and you will require this to access the stadium.
Travel Update
We would like to make fans that utilise the club’s park & ride facility aware that park & ride 2 (formerly University of Brighton park & ride), has ongoing building work at the Cockcroft site, therefore we advise fans to arrive earlier than usual.
*
All other P&R car parks are operating a normal service.
*
Please also note than Coombe Road, close to the park & ride 2 site, is currently closed for essential road works.
*
Details of the location of our park & ride sites can be found in our travel guide.
*
Southern Rail will be running a usual matchday service for the match.
*
Albion’s official travel partner Seagull Travel collects from over 120 pick-up locations covering East and West Sussex and surrounding counties. Seats can be booked via http://www.eventtravel-hub.co.uk/ or by calling 0845 9011 442.
Fanzone
*
For those arriving early the Hop Bar in the Fanzone will have a special offer on pints of Harveys Best Bitter at just £3.50 between 1pm and 1.30pm.
*
Last orders from the Hop Bar in the Fanzone will be 2.30pm and fans should note that all drinks must be consumed before entering the stadium. Post-match there will be no alcohol served outside.
*
Having recently been accredited to launch two new Disability Regional Talent centres – one for partially sighted and deaf players and the other for blind footballers – Albion in the Community will be in the Fanzone giving fans the chance to have a go at our new matchday shooting game with a difference.
*
The bandstand will host local artist Jacko Hooper who will be performing at ‘Together the People’ festival in Preston Park on the 5th and 6th of September.
The club will also have volunteers outside the stadium collecting any unwanted sun hats or baseball caps. Fans are asked to donate an old hat in return for a voucher for £5 off a new cap from the Seagulls Superstore (valid this Saturday). The donated hats will then be distributed to the city's homeless population as part of Albion in the Community’s skin cancer campaign.
Stadium Superstore
*
The Stadium Superstore will be open until kick-off with stock of the club’s latest 2015/16 change kits, home shirts as well as the new training kit range.
*
Kit printing will also be available, though fans are encouraged to arrive early for this facility due to the anticipated high demand.
