The official Rovers site was a bit more positive, "in contention" but has subsequently shifted to "doubtful" this afternoon

I was referring to the claim that he won't travel down. Can't see that mentioned anywhere.

Yep. Likewise. not seen that he's been 100% ruled out anywhere. just "likely to miss out".

Naylor is right ,that is good news for us. He is probably the best centre forward in the league. Look at his scoring record. Better than anyone else I would think in this league.

the Rovers striker missed Tuesday night's draw with Cardiff City with an ankle injury picked up against Huddersfield at the weekend, and is likely to miss out on the south coast clash.

The club will leave it until the last possible moment to see if Rhodes is fit for a return to action, but he won't be rushed back too soon.

Would i be right in thinking he, like many other 'one of the best strikers in the division', Rhodes has got very little out of the Albion.

I'm now struggling to think of other examples to prove my point, but I'm still going with the theory.
