Ipad air help needed.

The screen has frozen on Ipad air and cannot be sorted. I have held down the off and home buttons to initiate a hard reset several times but with no joy. Any ideas?

Apparently hold down the home button for 10s and without letting go hold the sleep button for a further 10s. Should reboot but don't quote me on it!

It can take up to 30 seconds of holding both buttons to start the re-set sometimes

Afraid that just repeats the hard reset process and does not work

Wait till the battery drains. Should reboot when charged then.

Just been given a brand new replacement ipad for the second time in 14 months. Can't fault the customer service, but does this goes some way to explain their exorbitant price in the first place?!?
