Although last season was truly awful one thing it has done is reduce expectation, and therefore pressure, on us to be up with the leaders. I fancy that back-to-back Top 6 finishes and a big name in Hyypia didn't help us in 2014/15, notwithstanding Burke's deals were largely abysmal.

I don't envy Boro or Derby County. Those are the two everyone's talking about yet they both bottled it at the end of last season and they don't have the resources of parachute payments either.

If the sides that got promoted were always the strongest squads we would have no chance, but they are not, and we do.

I do think we will have a very good season and that is maybe because the expectations are a little more realistic when we actually have a group of players who could gel into a very formidable team. I can feel it in my bones I tell thee.
