Two on my list to try, because they look good, are:

The Vintage Tea Room at The Dome Cinema

Crab Shack, on the front by Splash Point

I've yet to be truly wowed on my hunt for a good breakfast in Worthing.

A lot of site workers go for breakfast on Friday. Currently working in East Worthing, Rens next to City Electrical is good if the weather is nice as it has a secluded garden.
Jims cafe near the Smugglers does a decent one as well. The cafe over Goring on the parade near the church was also decent.

Not Worthing, but is the very greasy spoon still opposite The Sussex Yeoman, Durrington?

Easily the best fry up that I've eaten.

Their inch thick, lo-cal, diet fried slice just melted on the tongue.

The Sock of Poskett

The best is yet to come (spoiler alert)

Depends where you start from. It would take me substantially longer than 15 minutes to walk there.

you could drive until you are a 15 minute walk away ??

The Istanbul, Heene road near the seafront. A menu with various breakfasts, small venue is the only downside.

can vouch for the sausage at the tea rooms and reckon crab shack will be good

I live by the station and reckon the caff right outside does a wonderful sub £5 full english inc tea

of course there is no doubt that when you go under a fiver the sausage is always going to suffer slightly, but I think they manage well
