Greer needs practice with Rea.

Gametime for Calderon and Rosenior.

Wrap March and Lua Lua in cotton wool as we have no other wingers, so leave them both in Brighton.

If Chicksen doesn't get a game it shows he's finished at the albion.

So my starting lineup :

Maenpaa

Calderon
Greer
Rea
Rosenior

Ince
Holla
JFC
Tilley

COG
Colunga

Subs
Ankers, Zamora, Crofts + 4 dev squad

What's the point in setting up to not score?
That's 8 defensive players...Christ I thought those days were gone and hope hooton thinks attack

I interpret that line-up differently, but a core reason is to rotate the team, and not jeopardise those players (March, KLL especially) that we don't have much cover for. I forgot about Ward, who I'd like to see in the 18, and come on if we're winning. He looks promising to me.

Crofts & Zamora need minutes to get up to speed with Championship football but this game may have come too soon. Agree with previous posters about March & KLL - we'll have Chicksen and Rosenior as wingers if either of them get broken.

This is a big match for Southend and I think they will put out a strong team. Hughton will not will not be underestimating them, so I think we will see 2 or 3 players in the team that started against Forest.

Is anybody planning to start a chant of "We're going up as ******* champions" this time, do we know?

Is it though? I'd have thought this draw is the equivalent to us drawing Leicester or Stoke.

Unless Zamora is really very unfit, I'd play him. He needs to get match fit and he needs game time, so what better time to get it.

Neither crofts or zamora (well highly unlikely) per official site
