Suggest if we are prepared to spend 3 million on a player he has to be worth considering ?

Good player but can't see a part for him in current system . Wingers far more important

This. Unless we convert him March style to left/right midfielder or winger.

This would be very good news. I'd be interested to see how this would work given that his contract is up at the end of this season though. At 22, is he still young enough that Liverpool would get some sort of compensation at the end of the year, or would they be more likely to give him an extension??

If it's a choice between the season in Livepool's reserves, or a season of first team football in the Championship, I think most players with any sort of ambition would choose the latter, wouldn't they??
