My other half works at the Uni of Brighton where staff have been sent the following message:

Message from Estate and Facilities Management

The Watts South Car Park, adjacent to the Watts Building and Watts House (portacabin), will be closed to all vehicles from 7pm on Friday 7 August until 7am on Monday (10 August).

The area will be closed to access during this periods, so if you are parking on site please ensure that your vehicle is clear of the area beforehand. Any vehicles in the car park after 7pm will be moved by site contractors.

In addition, works on site are reducing the amount of spaces in the Watts North car park (located in between the Watts and Cockcroft buildings).

Not sure if the club knows or not already, but this will mean a very reduced capacity at Park & Ride 2 (aka Mouslecoomb campus) so might be worth bearing in mind when planning how you're going to travel to the game tomorrow. Thought it worth passing on.

Quick update - exchanged a couple of messages with the BHAFC Transport manager and they were unaware the car park was closed and even their contact at the Uni was unaware! They have arranged instead to use all of Mithras which they should be enough for normal capacity of same number of buses.

I guess everyone will be redirected to Mithras if they try and turn into Cockcroft.
