Not long to go now to the big kick-off. I must admit in the five decades of Albion watching have I looked forward to the start of the season with so much anticipation, with the exception of course of 1979 (first season in Div.1) and 2011 when entering our magnificent emporium.

As we all know this blue touch paper was lit with the return of a certain BZ, and yes I realise that this Bobby-fest might all end up as a damp squib, but sod it I'm going to enjoy the ride. So well done the club for this inspirational signing and timing, you've got our juices flowing - just make sure you get us a win on Friday!

Really annoyed I wont be @ the first game due to the fact I'm on a stag weekend ....(he's not a Brighton fan btw) but hope to catch the game on TV

I was thinking that whilst in the shower this morning, the excitement for this game feels very much like the first game vs Doncaster in 2011.
