The Zamora Song

Obviously 'Zamora Zamora' (like the who are ya) chant will be popular...
I expect 7 Nations Army 'Ooooh Bobby Zamora' will be heard too....

But THE Zamora song - we need a difinitive agreement on it don't we? I always thought of it as these 4 verses - feel free to change etc...

When the ball hits the net like a fuc*ing rocket it's Zamora.
When the ball's in the goal it's not Shearer or Cole it's Zamora.
You can go watch Brazil but you won't see the skill of Zamora.
Only paid hundred grand for the best in the land it's Zamora.

Would be good to get this going regularly. Also, I really hope nobody tries to modernise it / Amex it as the Shearer/Cole and 100k bits are the history and origins of the song.

All my opinion of course...

Although it's never going to happen, I'd love to update the Shearer or Cole line.

It's not Rooney or Giroud. (there has to be better modern names, but my mind is a blank)

But I like the traditional words, it means something and with Bobby Smith and Peter Ward, one of the best strikers we have ever had
